The Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan has launched a new logo in celebration of the upcoming wedding of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II and his Saudi fiancee, Rajwa Al-Saif.

The wedding, slated to take place on 1 June at Amman’s Zahran Palace, will be attended by some of the world's most famous royals, including Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden as well as Princess Takamado of Japan.

Other royals are expected to be present at the grand event.

The design, revealed earlier this week, features the Arabic word for "we rejoice", and is accompanied by the couple’s wedding date beneath. The moving logo initially starts off with the first initial letters of the Crown Prince and his bride-to-be in Arabic, before completing the word.

"As the date of the wedding of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif nears, we are pleased to share the official logo to mark, which is Arabic for 'we rejoice!'," the Royal Hashemite Court said on their social media accounts.

The caption was accompanied by the hashtag #CelebratingAlHussein.

The logo will also be available for download in multiple formats and can be used for digital media and apparel, among other functions.

After the ceremony, a procession will take place at Al Husseiniya Palace, according to Jordanian media, where a reception and dinner will be held in the presence of a number of members of the royal family, special guests and high-level personalities from the Arab world and beyond.

Hussein will be the second child of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania to wed after his younger sister Iman tied the knot with Venezuela-born finance entrepreneur Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in March this year.

The Crown Prince and Al-Saif, a graduate of the Syracuse University School of Architecture, became engaged in August last year.
