About the Role
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new apprenticeship opportunity within Business Growth.

Are you ready for a challenge?
As part of the £25m Redcar Town Deal programme we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to support our Town Centre Management Officer to support the development and delivery of the key objectives linked to the significant capital improvements planned for Redcar.
Based in Redcar Town Centre, you will gain valuable work experience supporting the Project Officer with a range of administrative tasks including dealing with businesses and stakeholder partners face to face, by email and telephone, managing databases, booking appointments, completing paperwork, filing, photocopying and ordering supplies and stationery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

Apprenticeship Qualification
During your apprenticeship you will be working towards the nationally recognised Business Administrator, level 3 qualification at Redcar Adult Learning, based in Redcar College.

Essential Requirements
Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit.

You will need to have a minimum of:
Grade 4 (equivalent to Grade C or above) at GCSE English and Maths or functional skills level 2 qualification in English and Maths.

You will need to be committed/willing to work towards the level 3 qualification. Applicants who have already achieved Business Administration Level 3 or higher will be ineligible to apply.
