With much uncertainty remaining and growth forecasts in many cases tied to vaccine rollouts that fluctuate wildly from country to country, OMFIF convened a panel to look at global markets and central bank policy. The panel addressed where differences between G10 and emerging market countries lie. It looked at vaccines and growth, what is happening in foreign exchange markets, what the current drivers are and how other asset classes are performing.

Panellists:
Robin Brooks, Managing Director & Chief Economist, Institute of International Finance
John Fagan, Principle, Markets Policy Partners; Former Director Markets Room, US Treasury
Robert Savage, Head of FX Sales Americas, BNY Mellon
