The Belgian designer duo Audi Pauwels and Kitty Spaenjers are the beating heart of Huis Pauwels Spaenjers.
In our contemporary goldsmith shop in the heart of Hasselt, technique and craftsmanship are central. We design jewelry with a sleek, minimalist design in sustainable materials.
Audi is the creative brain and makes design drawings in watercolor. Kitty is a master of goldsmithing technique.
Almost three decades later, this concept is still a successful formula and the team has been expanded with a few highly skilled goldsmiths.

Our jewelry is designed and made in our own workshop. All our jewels bear the master stamp of Huis Pauwels Spaenjers. As a result, every piece of jewelry manufactured by us guarantees quality and craftsmanship.
Our collection grows organically. So there is a continuous evolution in our collection.

CUSTOMIZED DESIGN
A custom design always starts with a conversation in our store. You can make an appointment for this, but you can also just drop by. A personalized design will cost you nothing extra. Thanks to our many years of expertise, we can flawlessly guide you to a personal design within the house style.
Good to know: the average processing time from custom design to realization is 4-8 weeks.

MOURNING JEWELRY
All jewelry with our maker's mark is designed and made in our own workshop. With us you will find sustainable jewelry in gold, silver, platinum or palladium that can be cherished for generations. The processed gold is 100% recycled in Belgium. In the shop, annex studio, in Hasselt center you will always find an extensive permanent collection of handmade jewelry. These can always be custom made so that adjustments or reusing your own gold are no problem at all. Every finished jewel is preceded by a design. Would you like a custom jewel or a personal design? We make a custom photorealistic design with love and creativity.
Have you lost a loved one and would you like to carry him or her with you forever? We process the ashes or hair of your loved one into a piece of jewelry.
At Huis Pauwels Spaenjers we have a serene range of mourning jewellery.
We also design custom jewelry to commemorate your loved one. This can be a formal abstraction of the initials or an engraving.

TRADEMY GOLDSMITH
We make the difference with an ordinary jeweler by manufacturing all our jewelry in our own workshop in a traditional way. Over three decades we have built up a collection that forms the largest part of our offer at Huis Pauwels Spaenjers.
Craftsmanship and craft are of paramount importance to us. As a goldsmith, we are therefore proud representatives of the 'Handmade in Belgium' HIB label and recognized as a Belgian craft. In the showcase of our store, you can watch how our team of goldsmiths work with precision and love.

OLD GOLD PROCESSING
'Old gold' is the general name for gold that was already processed into a piece of jewelry. Do you have jewelry that you want to incorporate into a new piece of jewelry? Which can!
Choose a model from our collection or we will make a custom piece of your old gold. Recover your old gold or use it as a means of payment.
Be sure to visit the store to have your jewelry tested for carat content and to discuss the possibilities, possibly with the reuse of the gemstones.
REPAIRS
JEWELERY AND WATCHES
In the studio we do professional repairs, also of jewelery that was not manufactured by us. This allows us to offer you a quick service of one week and a quality guarantee.

How does it work?
Bring in your jewelry made by us for free cleaning and checking of the settings or for a new battery for your watch. We do this à la minute so that you can immediately take it home after shopping.

“How does a design for a piece of jewelery come about and how is a jewel made?”
Animated explanation based on practical examples for +/- 30 minutes.
"Gemstones in relation to jewelry"
A 1 hour educational session with an extensive assortment of loose gemstones for illustration.
“How to make a ring”
A demonstration in the workshop of the goldsmith for 1.5 to 2 hours. One silver ring is made on site and can be taken home with a lucky one at the end of the session. (one can also indicate in advance if it should be made for a specific person, eg a birthday or a future bride)
