Join us for an evening where Sir John Sawers in conversation with Nicholas Crane will discuss geopolitical conflict in the context of climate change, great power rivalry and a constrained United Nations.
About the speakers
After a long career as a diplomat with postings in Yemen, Syria, Egypt, South Africa and the US, Sir John was appointed British Ambassador at the UN in New York, before back in London to head MI6. Over two decades he has advised successive prime ministers and foreign secretaries on foreign affairs and international security.
