Royal Greenwich launched the Community Innovation Grant programme in January 2022 to support projects which can help to improve unfair differences in health services and positively impact the mental health and wellbeing of our residents. We've funded 75 projects that have worked with over 10,000 residents, including over 2,000 children and young people, in the borough.

People live with unfair differences in physical and mental health for many reasons, which have only been heightened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Factors such as language, accessibility and experiences of discrimination can make it more difficult for communities to access and improve local support services. These projects, all around the borough, will aim to tackle these issues in their communities.
