Support during the cost-of-living crisis

If you are impacted by the cost of living crisis, there are several ways that SDS can support you

We deliver Scotland’s career service and can support anyone looking to change or improve their employment situation. SDS career services are FREE to use. 

You can get support from our expert Careers Advisers in SDS centres or community venues across the country. We support people of all ages and at all stages of their career, such as: 

  • leaving school 

  • getting into work 

  • changing career 

  • returning to work after a break 

  • support to upskill or reskill 

  • facing redundancy.

We can also help connect you with wider employability support services in your local area.

SDS Careers Advisers are also available for young people to speak to in every state secondary school in Scotland. 

SDS welcomes, supports and offers services to all refugees in Scotland who are fleeing war, oppression, and persecution. We will arrange translation services to ensure that those wishing to access our services can do so.
