Origins of the Ralph N Emanuel Scholarship:

The Ralph N Emanuel Scholarship - named after Ralph N Emanuel - was established by The Jusaca Charitable Trust. Ralph Emanuel was a generous philanthropist throughout his life. His support for refugees started when his parents in Brighton (UK) offered hospitality to many German Jews who were fleeing the Nazis. Many became life-long friends. Throughout his life, Ralph worked hard to bring Germans and Jews together. A non-Jewish friend told him that his work had helped to create a world ‘fit for our children’.
