Our 2 special schools – Beacon Hill Academy, for children with profound learning difficulty, and Treetops School, for socially disadvantaged children – are both outstanding.

Post-16 opportunities

Thurrock schools work hard to give children and young people from every community the best possible start to their education, from early years all the way through to post-16 provision. There is a major sixth form centre at Palmer's College, plus a state-of-the-art South Essex College campus.
