About

New York native Marc Anthony, born Marco Antonio Muniz to Puerto Rican parents, is the top-selling salsa artist of all time and has wowed fans across the globe for 20-plus years. In 2013 Anthony released 3.0, his first album of new salsa material in almost a decade. He spent the second half of 2013 on his "Vivir Mi Vida" world tour, refocusing his concert setlists on upbeat salsa material and creating a party-like atmosphere for fans who bought tickets. Anthony released his debut album, "When the Night Is Over," in 1991, and immediately found success when its single "Ride on the Rhythm" topped Billboard's dance music charts. In the years that followed, he released a mix of English- and Spanish-language albums, occasionally crossing into the pop mainstream but always keeping a foot in his salsa roots. It's been a wildly successful route, resulting in more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, a pair of Grammy Awards, and three Latin Grammy Awards.

    Best Dance Party Ever

by Katerina on 2022-12-04Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Marc Anthony and his band put on a show that kept me up and out of my seat the whole time. The energy and the passion that I could feel coming from the stage was infectious. I absolutely loved that there was no major theatrics during the show, it was focused on Marc Anthony, his voice and the band - just what I paid money to see. I would see this show over and over again if I could!!!

    Really good!

    by EmC on 2022-11-25

Marc put on a great show! His voice is amazing! His band is amazing! Just wish the concert was longer and he sang more songs. The crowd loved him and it was great seeing the whole audience sing with him. The opening act-the comedian…no bueno. He was insulting and not funny. Many gasps were heard in the crowd. Marc should have had some music to open for him. Or a DJ. I would totally go see Marc again!

    Great music

by Annie on 2022-11-21Centre Bell - Montreal

Marc Anthony is a great singer but we could barely hear him because the sound was horrible. The bass was way too loud and there was a lot of echo. Also the show was supposed to finish at 23h00 but it was done 30 minutes before.

    Amazing unforgettable experience!

    by Curly75 on 2022-11-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Mark Anthony was at his best! Comparing to seeing him in one of the concerts in Spain this summer, this concert in Toronto was at the whole different level! He sang all his best hits!

    Expected More

by Dvincigt on 2022-11-18Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Marc Anthony put on an amazing show but the biggest complaint I have is that he barely sang any songs. He would sing here and there but most of the time it was him showcasing the band players and the music. I went there to hear him sing but wasn’t satisfied with the amount he actually sang.

    Deception

by Salsa fan on 2022-11-17Centre Bell - Montreal

First of all the comedian was awful and insulting. Sec. we went to the nov. 2019 show and it was perfect. (# of songs, interaction with the crowd etc..) vs this show (Lack of energy, the neverending pauses between songs). The show started with a delay. Conclusion , we are big fans of marc anthony but this show never met our expectations.

    Great show, mediocre opening act

by Johnny on 2022-11-17Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Loved the show, the performance, spirit. Marc Anthony was amazing. Few blemishes: couple of drunk people seating next to us ruined the night, security was on top of the Situation but disturbing nevertheless. Also the comedian was terrible, ranchy, and little taste on the jokes. Relies on stereotypes and sexual content only. Same Jokes as the last show 4 years ago. But hey who goes to see a comedian before a concert.

    Great music and fans environment!

by Rose on 2022-11-16Centre Bell - Montreal

A real dream comes true, being there, amazing! We love his music and dance in person in the concert the best! However, some negative points, the concert starts close to two hours late, the comedian no appropriate for a music concert, rather we prefer a music performance, when start the concert, after each song the lights were off and not music for few minutes and that was each time until 7 song, killing the dynamic of a concert and then he said goodbye, everybody keeps asking for more and he finalized with three songs in a row. Everybody sitting close to us were wondering the same why he didn't do that from the beginning.
