Competitions Terms & Conditions

Today FM’s decision regarding prize winners will be final, and no correspondence regarding that decision will be entered into.
Today FM prizes are non-transferable, and will only be awarded to the prize winner.
Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant, i.e. a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
Today FM will keep prize winner(s) personal details for a reasonable time in order that prizes can be sent to the prize winner(s); rules can be verified to have been complied with and for accounting purposes. Today FM may only pass prize winner(s) details on to our third parties or sponsors for the purpose of delivering the prize.
Today FM Competitions are open only to residents of the Republic Of Ireland.
For competitions requiring entry by text, the number is 087 4100 102. Standard network charges apply.
Today FM will ensure that all prizes are delivered within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible, the station will notify the winner of a delay.
All prize winners have 12 months to claim a prize and if we or our client company do not receive any correspondence (pertaining to their address or other details) in that time period their claim is null and void.
When, due to circumstances beyond our control, a prize is not available, Today FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
From time to time the station may offer a cash alternative to a specific prize, but is under no obligation to do so.
Today FM accepts no responsibility for failure due to circumstances beyond our control, to fulfil a competition, which involves a third party but has no specific cash value, e.g. meeting an artist. We will however, on all occasions strive to provide a substitute prize of equal desirability to the winner. Unfortunately, the company cannot accept responsibility if these attempts do not meet a prizewinner’s expectations.
In on air competitions, failure to appear on air will unfortunately disqualify an entrant whether this occurs due to operator error or other technical errors.
The prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter.
The Promoter/Today FM shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature whether in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise caused by acceptance of these terms or in connection with the Prize or the Competition.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter/Today FM reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition without notice.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Any person or persons found to be in disregard of any of the above rules will be disqualified automatically. Today FM reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion

The Big Bid for Focus Ireland Terms and Conditions:

Today FM is offering local businesses and communities the chance to bid for The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show to broadcast live from their place of business/shop on April 12th 2024 between 6am-9am.
The bid will open at 6am Friday 22^nd March 2024 and will run until 9am Thursday 28th March 2024.
No bids will be accepted after 9am 28th March 2024.
The business/community that submits the highest bid and meets the requirements listed below will be chosen as the location for The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on April 12^th 2024.
The chosen highest bidder will need to pay the full amount of their bid by April 12^th 2024 to Focus Ireland [Registered Charity Number 20015107] with proof of donation to Today FM.
All bids must be submitted by emailing bigbid@todayfm.com, please include Business Name, Bid Amount, and Contact Details.
With the exception of sole traders, individuals are not permitted to enter the bid.
Businesses in the alcohol or gambling industry are not permitted to enter the bid as per broadcast guidelines in the BCAP code.
The bid winner must provide a suitable space for the broadcast, this includes stable uncontended internet connectivity and 230v mains power.
The bid winner must provide access to their place of business/community from Friday 29^th March for recce of location and full access for broadcast build on Thursday 11^th April to allow for the setup of broadcast equipment.
Today FM holds the right to refuse the highest bidder if they do not meet the technical requirements and/or do not match with Today FM’s company values.

Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show Kickstart Competition

Entrants are given the chance to "Kickstart the nation" with an upbeat song of their choice to be played live on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show, weekdays 6am - 9am.
The songs will be played within the first hour of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show (6am - 7am).
Entrants must give their name on submission of song.
Each winner that kickstarts the nation is entitled to a piece of show merchandise as a prize.
Each winner must provide delivery address for prize and if your prize is not received within 28 working days please contact the show.

Irish Ferries Promotion T&C’s – Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show WC 15th April

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

All entrants must be 18 years or over and be resident in the Republic of Ireland and hold a valid passport, drivers licence and visa (if appropriate) for travel to UK or France.

No purchase is necessary to enter this competition draw.

Any resultant booking and travel with Irish Ferries is subject to the terms and conditions of booking and travel as outlined at www.irishferries.com. The prize winners must be listed as a passenger on the booking, up to a max of 5 persons.

This promotion runs from 15th April 2024 to the 19th April 2024 inclusive. Travel must be completed by 14th December 2024.

Prize travel voucher can be used against a booking for travel in 2024 on the Dublin – Cherbourg route operated by Irish Ferries.

Prize travel voucher is denominated in euro and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other equivalent, cannot be transferred to another or used against an existing booking, or in conjunction with any offer or promotion. No refunds will be given on unspent value.

Travel booking must be made at least 14 days in advance of travel and by 14th December 2024. Booking is subject to availability at the discretion of Irish Ferries.

To maximum extent permitted by law, Irish Ferries is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury, which might occur to the winners resulting from his or her acceptance of the prize.

Irish Ferries reserves the right to substitute prizes of an equivalent or greater value to those specified, should any part of the prize offering become unavailable.

Irish Ferries reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any entrant, to add to or waive any rules without prior notice to the entrants or in the event of circumstance beyond the control of Irish Ferries arising which in its opinion makes it desirable to cancel the competition at any stage.

One weeks accommodation in France in a self-catering mobile home will be provided by a separate 3rd party supplier to Irish Ferries.

A random selection will be made, and one valid entry will be chosen by Today FM to avail of the prize detailed.

The announcement of the winner will take place daily over the course of the competition
