Stockholm is the third city to join the Cities partnerships Programme.
Known as the 'Capital of Scandinavia', Stockholm is an excellent base for establishing research collaborations in the region, and an ideal home for a City partnerships programme that, among other themes, will look at the global challenges of climate change and health.
A cosmopolitan city of 2.4 million people, Stockholm is an environmental pioneer with a culture of innovative thinking and creative design.
The collaboration between London and Stockholm will leverage Scandinavian partners such as:
- the City of Stockholm
- Stockholm Regional Authority
- Boverket, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning
In order to impact on both industry and policy-making.
