Overview

This year's Forum will focus on the new radon potential map for Great Britain, which will be published shortly.

 

Who will benefit?

The forum should interest professionals including those with an interest in radon measurement and control in buildings, Local Authority officers, radon remediation specialists, radiation public health and environmental radiation consultants

 

Aims

To provide an update on recent radon publications and initiatives. There will be opportunities to discuss radon issues and network with a range of radon specialists including scientists, government, radon remedial contractors and others. A small amount of space is available for commercial displays: please contact radon@ukhsa.gov.uk for further information.

 

Programme/Content

Registration is from 9:30, the main programme starts at 10:00 and ends at 16:15.

A 'Radon Basics' talk will be offered as well as an opportunity to visit our laboratory with its radon calibration chamber.

In addition to the invited speakers, we are willing to consider offered oral or poster presentations.
