Challenges!
All WUCA Challenges:
- Riders must be active members to participate and view results
- All members are automatically entered in all challenges.
- WUCA presents a physical award to the top male and female for each Challenge
All WUCA Challenges Except Year Rounder:
- There all also Age group and Bike type category winners for all challenges,
- All events must be on the WUCA calendar
- A successful record attempt may be used for one of your events
CHALLENGE: WUCA WORLD CUP OF ULTRACYCLING 2023
At the pinnacle of competitive ultra-cycling, the World Cup is the competition for racers who want to be recognised as the best ultra-cyclist in the world.
World Cup competitors must complete a minimum of four events:
- One 12-hour event
- One 24-hour event
- One event of 750-1,500km
- One event of 1,500-3,000km OR one of 3,000+km
Points are assigned based on finisher ranking in each competitive event, with the racer accumulating the most points in these four events becoming the winner of the World Cup. Note that additional bonus points are awarded for continental and world championship events. See the event calendar for more info on which races enjoy this distinction.
