Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, more Canadian stars sing 'Lean On Me' for coronavirus relief

Move over, "Imagine." There's a new celebrity musical tribute to boost morale and raise funds for coronavirus relief.

Some of Canada's most notable musicians have teamed up to sing Bill Withers' "Lean on Me": Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan, Walk Off the Earth and more sang parts from home in a "We Are the World"-style conglomerate.

"Property Brothers" star Drew Scott and wife Linda Phan also made an appearance, holding a light-up heart.

The video, released through the initiative ArtistsCAN, was created by singers Tyler Shaw and Fefe Dobson. Fans are invited to donate on the organization's website or through text: Sending  LEANONME to 20222 donates $10. All proceeds go to the Canadian Emergencies and COVID-19 Response Fund.

Staying Apart, Together:A newsletter about how to cope with the coronavirus pandemic

Last month, "Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot enlisted the help of a myriad of famous faces to sing John Lennon's "Imagine" as a way to boost morale amid coronavirus quarantines in the U.S. and around the world. Stars such as Will Ferrell, Natalie Portman, Jimmy Fallon, Zoe Kravitz, Amy Adams, Mark Ruffalo, James Marsden, Sarah Silverman, Maya Rudolph and more sent in their own selfie videos.

"Day six in self quarantine, and I've got to say these past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical," Gadot said in the video posted to her Instagram account. "This virus has affected the entire world. Everyone. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from. We're all in this together."
