Edouard was born in 1845. The 1871 Canada Census shows Edward, 24 years old, living with his parents and 8 siblings in Grande-Rivère, Gaspé. He is single and a fisherman. [1] Edouard married Eugénie Lebreux in 1874. [2]On September 1st 1877, their 4 month old daughter Eugénie was buried in Grande-Rivière. It is written in the burial record that the mother, Eugénie Lebreux, has already passed away. [3] In the 1881 census, he is living with his mother Marianne, his son Edouard, and his siblings. [4] He married Marianne Cormier in 1883. [5]
